A world premiere play developed through City Theatre's HOMEGROWN playwright development program designed to give local writers the time, tools, and guidance to create new work.
Miami, 1999. A boy grips a baseball glove like it’s the last solid thing in his life. Around him, three generations of family unravel and collide: an unyielding grandfather, a grandmother carrying the weight, a father desperate to matter, and a mother caught between rebellion and duty. One night changes everything. Secrets break open. Bonds are tested. Love is stretched thin. Like a baseball glove, they must stretch and soften to hold on.
Directed by Gladys Ramirez
